Anatomy, maybe... artists they are not.,
This review is from: Human Anatomy for Artists (Hardcover)
This book was really disappointing. The drawings are just bad, flat and lifeless. If what you expect from this sort of book is lots of inspiring illustrations, do not buy it. "Depressingly mediocre" is what comes to mind.

A Reader says:
This is NOT a book about illustration styles but about the construction and design of human anatomy for artists - the clue is in the title! The idea is see and understand how it works, how these physical systems connect and then produce your own inspiring illustrations from it. "Depressingly mediocre" ?? No chance, this is one of the best books of it's kind.

I have to agree, you've obviously the wrong book and subject and then reviewed it based on it not meeting your needs.
You obviously meant to buy a book on life drawing if you looking for creative interpretation, and certainly not anatomy study.
Artists buy these anatomy books for precise clear accurate simplified depictions of the human construction.
