Customer Review

on 11 September 2006
Anyone who has noticed Armando Iannucci's name in the credits of some of the best british comedy of the last 10 years-Alan Partridge, The Day Today, Brass Eye, The Thick Of It, will have an idea of what to expect. It has a loose theme running through each episode, and Iannucci's brand of exaggerated surreal comedy provides a running commentary throughout. Not all the sketches that punctuate each episode are of the same quality. Although many are superb, some grate and don't always add to the program. That said there are some wonderful ideas on here and is highly recommended to anyone who owns and enjoys anything that Iannucci has been involved in before.
