Really helpful BUT....,

This review is from: Ravensburger Puzzlestore (Toy)
I actually received this as a gift around christmas time and was thrilled because puzzle pieces lying around really can clutter up surfaces. Not to mention, the high chance of losing a piece when your unsuspecting cat comes along and tries to eat or play with the random pieces spread across the desk. So for that reason this was great because you can store all of your pieces in compartments within the "PuzzleStore". There are also a number of compartments of varying size, five compartments I think, which is fab if you like to keep certain colours together.
There are two things that I was a bit disappointed with, but I still like the product and use it all the time. The first problem I encountered was that I chose a puzzle which must not have been conventional size. It was 1000 pieces but slightly more panaromic than the average puzzle I suppose. This meant that actually the board wasn't big enough - so it doesn't fit ALL 1000 piece puzzles.
The second issue (and to be honest, I don't see it as a problem) is that when you put the pieces inside the compartments they naturally move around - it's not a magnetic board with magnetic pieces so of course this is to be expected. But nevertheless, this could be a problem for those people that like to arrange things in a certain order. The pieces rarely jump from compartment to compartment and they certainly don't fall out of the Puzzlestore in my experience, but I suppose this could be frustrating for a few people so it's worth a mention.
Overall though, I'm very happy with the product. If you enjoy puzzles but the clutter is just annoying you (or you have sneaky cats) it's worth getting your hands on one. Also, if you have small children this could be ideal as it's a little stiff to open so they won't be chomping on the pieces either.
Hope this helps.
