Customer Review

on 25 November 2012
This book will engage many lefty liberals interested in deconstructing society on their terms but beyond that I doubt whether it has much of a market elsewhere. I read it a few years ago on a ship from Japan to China and I was left not only with a headache but a feeling that if you write enough verbose rubbish someone will believe it. It ticks all the politically correct boxes and if this is your mojo you will not be disappointed. I was not surprised to read that Steven Pinker once believed in the blank slate theory as most lefties did once upon a time. Now we know better. Indeed, Pinker does write one very good thing in this regard alone, he denounces very effectively what he once believed. For this reason I will give this book two stars.
