Customer Review

on 6 May 2005
This is a beautiful album made by two brothers who care. Inspired by many artists but sounding not much like any of them (thanks largely to Paul's unique voice and Phil's solid-as-a-rock drumming / percussion), this collection of songs is only a taster of what is yet to come from the brilliant Wilkinson brothers. Instant, hooky tracks like 'Price of Winter' and 'You Make me Feel Amazing' are complimented gracefully by altogether more daring light-to-dark-to-light tracks like the brilliant 'I Don't Know Where Are You'. Struggling against a fair amount of bad luck, these boys have been working hard to get this far for many years and have sustained their faith and belief to the point where it only makes the music stronger, deeper, more refined. If Wilco and music of that ilk is your bag, then this will not disappoint. This deserves your attention. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed. Music for lovers of music.
