beware book binding falls apart,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dirr's Encyclopedia of Trees and Shrubs (Hardcover)
This book arrived in the publishers plastic sealed cover, but on opening the book the binding fell apart. Sent an email to Amazon who have ignored my request for small credit against the next book I purchase from them.
I did not think it possible to return the book all the way to the UK, just cellotape it up in parts. Its a very heavy book with nice photos to assist in identification of some shrubs and trees. I find a few trees popular, here in New Zealand not mentioned! Maybe our temperate climate better here than in Georgia state.
Anyway a nice book to have and to delve into when the occassion to check up on a plant exists.

I ordered this book also and it arrived damaged. I returned it and the second book had pages falling out within a week. The third book they sent is right out of the package and the binding is already coming apart. The information in the book is absolutely fantastic, but the quality of the binding and book itself is horrible.
