Wall thickness meant that half the house did not receive a wi-fi signal. I have a number of Solwise homeplugs already so was concerned that there may be compatibility issues despite the products assurances that would work with most other products.
It plugged in, synced and was throwing out a strong signal within 2 minutes, one of the simplest products I have used and has been running now for 2 weeks with no problems at all.
It comes with its own secure code so you will have to update your devices to access the 'new' wi-fi' signal but this was seamless and devices just switch between this and the main router automatically with no hitches at all.
It does have 2 ethernet sockets for a wired connection as well if required.
A little bulky and more expensive than some similar products but it's done the job with no problem and looks better than most competitors - I'm definitely happy I paid the premium.
