Great countdown timer with 1 issue - NOT Water resistant.,
This review is from: Gymboss Interval Timer & Stopwatch GB2010 BLACK SOFTCOAT (Electronics)
This product was great as a timer and with 1 improvement on functionality it would be perfect. However it isnt really as described with regards to it being Water resistant. I was using to increase how long I could hold my breath for. I didnt submerge it, it was left on the side and the beebs were audible underwater. However, after a little while of wet fingers adjusting the settings, the display started to go. Segments of the numbers had gone and was not really usable as I couldnt really tell what it was set to anymore without testing. To further prove the point, as I wasnt really going to be able to use it any more, I placed in under water (I did this in my sink so no real preasure and it was plain old tap water) and it went off within about 5-10 seconds. I was able to take apart, dry out and get it to turn on, but the display is still half working.
Now watches describe themselves as water resistant and they mean you can swim with them on. Water resistant in this case I think means it might be ok if you breathed on it...
Would I buy again? Yes but only if it was really water resisant as advertised, or if I needed for land based sport.

Water resistent and water proof are 2 different terms. You need a water proof timer.
