This is a handsome coffee-table hardback tribute to Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, may he rest in peace (if the media will ever let him).
Fortunately for us fans, we have the music, the videos, the memories, and now a select few special publications which are worthy of an individual who defied classification and transcended boundaries.
Michael broke so many glass ceilings in his career, paving the way for so many who came after him, it is hard to find a more influential figure over three decades of the entertainment industry. Any writer would have trouble more than skimming the surface in a volume composed largely of photographs.
But it is the photographic record presented in this book that makes it exceptional. Its subject makes it even more so.
It's a great book of memories for fans, a truly fitting tribute to the incomparable Michael Jackson.
