Patterns of Fashion 4,
This review is from: Patterns of Fashion 4: The cut and construction of linen shirts, smocks, neckwear, headwear and accessories for men and women c. 1540 - 1660 (Paperback)
I came across this book by accident whilst looking for something else. I didn't know this specific book was in print since it is not something commonly seen on bookshelves. I have had the other 3 in the series for many years and am delighted to add this to my collection of fashion books. For anyone interested in the cut and construction of historical clothing these books are a must. The details of stitch and fabric are amazing with many references to original textiles and art work. The historical background is a joy to read and provides a wealth of information which can be adapted to whatever you wish to make.
