Superb little dinner party talking point,

An interesting read for any foodie! I learnt a lot within minutes of picking up this book and such as that a croissant in france is merely a litteral translation of the word crescent. You'll get great pleasure just skimming through the book whenever you get a few minutes to spare and I certainly was amused when reading about bernard matthews turkey twizzlers...
Any fooide or avid dinner party goer will find this book a great hoot, buy as a gift or buy for yourself. I for one am more than impressed with it - I'd like to see more content added but overall a great little book with around 400 pages.
