I still have the hardbacks of the famous Henry Root books and this does not compare. The Root books and letters were of a time when people were less suspicious and the letters had a harder and far more clever edge.
This gets tedious very quickly as 'witty' letters are written to mainly C list companies and celebrities and in most cases it is obvious they get it is a joke but reply with a neutral response 'just in case'. Yes, one or two are funny but sadly they are in the minority in a book that gets repetitious and tired far too quickly.
