Roine Stolt & Co have done it again. Their prolific output never seems to dip in quality and The Rainmaker is certainly going to win yet more fans for its quality Prog rock. The CD is long (Over 70 minutes) but the tracks are a little shorter than on previous albums - condensing the highly melodic tunes works well. The quality of musicianship is top notch (as usual) and the sound is spot on. There are prog experiments inter-laced with jazz, rock, pop and even a little music that would work well as a film score. All in all this is a lovely album that would be well worth a buy!
