Customer Review

on 19 December 2010
I've just finished this LONG book - quite a journey. All the main characters, and indeed the idea for the story, are in the book description - an exceedingly short synopsis for an enjoyably long work.
The characters are well fabricated, true that develop and change through the story. These are interwoven into technologies to be dreamed of on an epic scale. There are many very imaginative societies and vistas that all seem to have a foundation of engineering truth about them - nothing that is outside the believable world that the author has created.
The book is billed as a trilogy - what I am not sure of is whether this is the first of three or it contains all three. I hope that the former is the case and we can therefore expect more of this well written fantasy!
For Kindle readers - text to speech works, however there are just enough typos/odd grammar to be noticeable.
Update: Just read that there is a sequel on the way on the sci-fi thread.
