Olivier is the problem,
This review is from: The World At War: Complete TV Series [DVD] (DVD)
Never mind the undoubted quality of the content herein - there are no subtitles! Not only is this a serious omission (and the reason I won't be buying this box set),but the problem is compounded by the,at times, poor and unclear diction of Olivier while narrating.

Sebastian Rolfe says:
Olivier's diction unclear - is this a joke comment?

I can only presume it's a joke - certainly I didn't take it seriously

Ms. O. Lowe says:
I think what the person means is that Olivier sometimes speaks rather fast, especially when using large words, and so it could be difficult for some people to understand. There have been times when I have had to skip back a few seconds to fully take in what has been said.

It may be true to someone hard of hearing, but if it's a comment about Olivier's narration generally then, yes I agree-big joke.

Ms. O. Lowe says:
I don't think it's about Olivier's ability to narrate or anything like that, I just think the comment was misworded, and what he really means is that Olivier does talk very fast and sometimes it is a little hard to make out what he's saying whether you are hard of hearing or not. Generally, like we all expect, he is very good and clear, but there are times when he seems almost rushed, as if he is being pressured to get a certain amount of words into a short space of time, if that is understandable.
