2.0 out of 5 stars 2 Stars for the Blu Ray get the DVD!, 6 April 2010
This review is from: Dead Mans Shoes [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
This is a fantastic film and a great DVD with a lot of interesting extras. However the Blu Ray is just so disappointing it's untrue. For a start there are no extras, NONE, how does that happen? Had this transfer been done properly some of the sweeping shots of the countryside would have looked breath taking but instead it's no better than the DVD.
It breaks my heart to be writing this review but I do it in case you have the DVD and were thinking of replacing it with this. Don't do it, wait for this to be re released in the future when hopefully it well get the treatment such a classic deserves.

*Many* thanks for this review. I already have the DVD and having recently "upgraded" (ahem..!) to Blu-Ray, I have to admit at £6.99 I was tempted. However, with the DVD version being worthless (in terms or resale) and having read your review to be honest I will take your advice and stick with the DVD!

Cheers, John.
