Excellent pizza and bread stone,

Well made pizza "stone" - makes for lovely crisp pizza bases and also works pretty well for home made bread, though a thicker stone would probably be even better for bread. For best results, remember to leave the oven at temperature longer than normal to allow the stone to heat up.
As with any porous stone of this sort, it will get dirty in use and discolour, especially if pizza toppings spill over. This is not an issue. A quick scrape and then clean with damp sponge is all that is needed. Do not soak or immerse in water to wash it or you risk the trapped water shattering the stone next time you heat it in the oven.
The metal cradle is good for protecting the stone from knocks, surfaces from getting damaged by the stone and makes lifting the hot stone in and out of the oven much, much easier.
The whole thing is big. You'll want to make sure you can store it somewhere...or leave it in the oven when not in use
