One of the fun things for me about the Transatlantic Sessions was that it introduced me to artists I hadn't known before or knew litte about. Subsequently I have bought CDs by some of those artists. And I've not enjoyed the "official" product as much as I've enjoyed the performances on this DVD. The performances here are so vivid and vital, and the musicianship is so excellent that the originals get surpassed by some distance. In fact when you consider the numbers here, what Douglas, Bain and Co have achieved is near miraculous: Two weeks, about 40 high quality tracks.
