Customer Review

on 16 October 2013
This dictionary is an almost total waste of time!

Despite being branded as "for the Kindle" it displays much like a paper dictionary.
However, unlike a physical book - when using this dictionary on a Kindle or smartphone you can't guess rougly where to open the book and then flick pages quickly to home in on the word you want.

Each look up takes far too much effort and I feel really cheated by the product, which was absolutely no use whatsoever for my recent holiday in Spain.

It needs some sort of hyperlink system to the beginning of each alphabetical section - then further links to the first 2 letters you want. So there might be a "Jump to E" link, then "Jump to EA", "Jump to EB", "Jump to "EC" (etc.)

I'm sure a bright 12 year old could improve on it...
