This was a sixth form common room favourite in my youth. It was so loud that it had to be short (that's a groove thing......ask your parents!).
The tracks are all brash and exciting, played with energy and real ability. I never knew it wasn't a hit, probably never sold because of all the "home taping is killing music" going on amongst spotty teenagers.
As a young rocker I had to have it explained to me that Americans used "scooter" to mean motorbike, but once reassured I just loved that engine rev guitar intro...witty lyrics too, a rock song where the boy asks the girl to come see him on her "bad motor scooter" 'cos he's afraid of her dad!
