Such flimsy and ultra thin paper - even with extremely careful handling these pages will crease, wrinkle and fold over at best - and at worst simply tear. Even out of the box my copy had many pages that looked as though they had "dried out" after being wet. So what indeed is the point of a firm external binding (whether hardback or leather) and sewn pages if the pages of text themselves are so hopelessly delicate? Someone said here the book could last a lifetime ..... yes perhaps the leather covers but personally I'd give the pages a few months before they are crinkled and tarnished. Very disappointed.
