This review is from: Hagakure; The Book of Hidden Leaves: The Way of the Samurai (Paperback)
This book is like a high-school project. Nowhere near to a professional standard. The layout of the pages, the size of the text and line spacing, and the ugly little drawings make the book itself unappealing. However, the actual translation of the text makes it even worse. All the subtlety, and profound beauty of the more expensive translation are gone. Here you'll find only awkward, simplified, clearly second-language English. Pay the extra. This book is disappointing.
