Good piece of kit for a fair price,
This review is from: Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 Standard Keyboard and Optical Mouse (Electronics)
This set comes at a reasonable value and so perhaps you shouldn't expect a state-of-the-art keyboard-mouse package. It does appear to be an entry-level wireless package, but it looks good and typing is comfortable and not loud (it's not ultra-quiet either).
GOOD: In my opinion, the best things about this keyboard are the customisable hotkeys - invaluable when watching films/listening to music and you want to sit away from the screen for a while.
BAD: The mouse is the weak link i feel. The only disappointment I truly have is that the scroll wheel isn't very sensitive; one click of the wheel won't move the screen and so you don't have COMPLETE control of the scroll. My previous Logitech wireless worked fine in this regard - very sensitive and precise.
OVERALL: Worth a go, if you're making that first step into wireless keyboard/mouse sets. If you're already there, spend 10-15 pounds more maybe to get something that will blow you away

Just add more sensitivity to the scroll in mouse options and your problem no longer exists
