I have just finished reading Life's Too Short and just wanted to jot some thoughts down for anyone wondering whether to buy this book. My advice is simple - DO!
Unlike poor old Laura - who sounds like she has a personal vendetta against the author instead of wanting to share a book review - I thought this book was charming! The author was informative and had a friendly (not condescending) tone. Reading this book was just like talking to a mate.
And Grace Saunders has even managed to come up with a new term I have started using in conversation - "SGBWD' (single girl boys want to date). This book has also made me feel SOOO much better about faking a `home-cooked' meal. Life IS too short to sweat an onion or avoid Pringles so thank you reaffirming this!
So I recommend reading this funny and genuinely helpful book. As for poor old Laura, all I would say is it takes a "weight obsessed fashionista who skips around Notting Hill all day in repetto ballet flats with coloured ribbon tied around her waist" to know one!!
