For a first time and self published novel, The Honour of the Knights is in my opinion a great success. During the story you will follow the adventures of a group of 5 star fighter pilots who get selected to prove their worth to test the Confederation Stellar Navy greatest and latest fighter, however next to the big story there are enough little side steps to keep it interesting and to make the reader clear that much larger things are going on, with this in your mind you keep going back for just a little bit more.
The story speeds up and slows down wonderfully throughout the book which makes it an enjoyable read.
New characters are introduced all through the book, some more important then others but the introduction is never to long or to short but just enough so you know where they are coming from. They are often used to give some information from a totally difrent point of view and I have to say that works rather well.
All in all it was a very enjoyable read and I hope it will be a big enough success so the author will release book 2 and 3.
