Customer Review

on 2 November 2012
This never worked for me, being insufficiently comprehensive even for 1984. The Cambridge Companion of 2009 I confess I'm not familiar with, but I'm very fond of others in the series. I tend to use Anita Silvey's inevitably America-biased Children's Books and their Creators (1995) supplementing its historical deficiencies with Brian Doyle's never-surpassed 1968 Who's Who; for more modern times Silvey mostly delivers. Not ideal, maybe - but fun!
