Customer Review

Valiant lightning strikes again!

This great book continues Robert Venditti's reign on the X-O Manowar title and the exploration of the fascinating character of Aric of Dacia. I loved this story arc because the main character stayed true to his goals and motivations that he's had since issue #1. He just wants his people to have a homeland and enjoy life. I wavered between feeling sorry for him and his people, and in thinking how pig-headed Aric is being at not taking into account the realities of the modern world he's now stuck in. I really think the seeds of some future wisdom get planted by the Eternal Warrior in his encounter with Aric in these issues. The artwork in these issues was great overall and I love the setup for the upcoming Unity crossover where X-O Manowar is the villain... sort of.

I can't recommend highly enough all of the X-O Manowar books as well as most of the other Valiant titles!
