Customer Review

on 18 August 2014
Jed is a tough horse trainer on the rodeo circuit, Booker his young (gay) work partner. Sexual energy fizzes between the two men and eventually erupts in a night of hot sex. So far so good. But Jed is ultra-closeted and takes himself and Booker through the tortures of the damned before they can live and lust happily ever after. I enjoyed the book and it has some hot and beautiful passages. But you cannot escape the feeling that Booker is this sweet, sexy guy saddled with a man who should be in residential therapy. Jed has as many breakdowns as they are pages and credibility and patience are both stretched to the limit.
