This is definitely not the best fighting game in the market. Even for Wii you can find better alternatives if you are looking for a good representative of the genre. It looks weird and voice acting is cheesy. But all that doesn't make this game bad. In fact, it's quite good, strangely good.
"High Voltage", the developers, have created an unique combat system that initially seems shallow and boring, but after a few matches you'll begin to get it: it's more about strategy and timing than learning long chains of buttons. And it's actually very funny and even challenging in the upper levels of difficulty. I like when game designers try something different, and I like even more when that actually works, and in this case it works. I'd like to see this combat system or an enhanced version in another game. My only complain is that there is not enough content: only ten fighters and two gameplay modes, that's all. But for the price it has, I think is a good product.
