Though I enjoyed the book, I found myself thinking time and time again "wait a minute, you just contradicted yourself" with regards to the style and facts that the author presented. Anyone familiar with the Teena Brandon story will know that it's a complicated, and terrible tale of a confused teenager whose life is brutally destroyed by hate.
Aphrodite Jones confused the issue too many times to make the book a truly captivating read. If she had concentrated a little more on Teena Brandon, and refrained from telling the life story of every single person (no matter how far detatched from Teena they were), All She Wanted would have been an excellent book.
I also found the ending a little disappointing... almost like the author herself lost interest in the story.
