Customer Review

on 13 July 2010
This was the first book by Murakami I read and, at the time, it incited me to read (much) more of his work. I think this is a very good story, although it doesn't seem to be so much about the ending. It's more about the preceding pages. I imagine everyone will have their own Murakami, but what I really enjoyed about this book (and Murakami's work in general) is its capacity to be very soothing and somehow disturbing at the same time. Murakami explores the unconscious. He has the ability to open a window in your own mind.

In any case, very recommendable and, I guess, a good introduction to Murakami.
