its about time,
This review is from: A Composer's Guide to Game Music (Hardcover)
This is an interesting but also a very easy to understand read, I love this because i think I am right when I say its quite unique as there are virtually no books that deal with game music, and to have a composer as talented and inventive as Winifred Phillips actually put her thoughts into print is a bonus.Well written and thoughtful which gives us an insight into the ever evolving world of game music.

Ms Philips is a fine composer. But there are WAY better books about game audio than this. It skirts around the edge without giving any of the details needed for a career in game audio.

So, which books do you suggest then? I'm seriously interested on your opinion.
