Customer Review

on 25 February 2013
Neil Dudgeon replaces John Nettles' wonderfully wry Chief Inspector Barnaby in this latest collection, playing...another Chief Inspector Barnaby. The acerbic and slightly eccentric John Barnaby, though, is just as capable as his cousin Tom when it comes to dealing with the even more eccentric and habitually murderous denizens of Midsomer County, a beautiful and unspoilt corner of the English countryside where nobody in their right mind would want to risk living. Any long running series risks becoming tired after a while, but if anything, the scripts for this show just seem to be becoming more and more inventive with each new and increasingly more bizarre spate of murders...
