Stevie B, I agree with your review but I can't help pointing out that the apostrophe in "comma's" is wrong. It's a plural, so no apostrophe. See page 48 of Trask's excellent book. The punctuation around the brackets is also wrong. I'd suggest: " . . . commas (hope I got that right)." If you meant the statement inside the brackets as a question, and not a comment, add a question mark inside the brackets.
