To have good electronic scales is essential when you make macarons as measurements must be precise. These scales are classic: small, slim and light, with easily readable blue LCD display with white backlight. They are very simple in use. I weight in grams. Traditionalists can use oz mode. Also you can measure liquid in ml and fl.oz. They are easy to look after. When I use them I keep them in a loose transparent plastic bag to avoid those fine ingredients to get under the power button. They are powered by two lithium batteries which are proved to be long lasting. That's all you need from electronic scales actually. I hope they'll serve me for long time. I do recommend them.

I wonder how responsive these scales are? The one I use now, a different brand, takes a while for the reading on the LCD to refresh when I add ingredients, which is really irritating. I'm looking for one that has a fast display that gives me accurate readings as i add small amounts.

Good idea to keep the scales in a plastic bag ... I wonder if my Salter scales gave up the ghost due to sugar solution for my bees gumming up the on/off and reset buttons? A plastic bag would have stopped that from happening.
