a great contribution,
This review is from: Cosmopolis: The Hidden Agenda of Modernity (Paperback)
I have no education in philosophy and when I read books about philosophy I mostly find them very hard to read. They seem to lose themselves in abstract theories.
For me it seems that this book is adressing a key issue in our western way of thinking which is an underlying factor in many of the global problems the world is facing today.
But this book was very down to earth and well written. And I strongly recommend it to people who are interested in philosophy of science and critique on rationality and the object - subject duality. This work explores this from historical point of view and examines the conditions in which this has emerged.
