This review is from: The Robert Fellowes Collection: Grand Prix 1934-1939 (Hardcover)
Great photographs featured throughout - 5 stars for those. I heard about this book from a man who was present at both pre-war Donington Grand Prixs - he said the pictures captured 1930s GP racing. They are fantastic - some very dramatic and artistic shots from a completely different era of cars, tracks and drivers.
The one point to possibly count against is, as a book for reading - the text on each race is brief, information on Robert Fellowes himself did seem hard to come by but, each race could have been given more of a write-up - even if it is a book mainly to show a collection of (exceptional) photographs. That doesn't take away from the pictures featured though and it's thoroughly worth buying just for those even if you don't read a word of the text.
