How anyone can even mention this in the same breath as FIFA is beyond me. The only thing that lets it down is the English league teams all have different names (Villa become West Midlands Village and Everton are Merseyside Blues) but there is an editor for you to change this if you are really so bothered.
This JUST oozes the feeling of actually playing football and you'll never score the same goal twice as you would in FIFA. Yesterday i played as WBA vs Chelsea and despite outplaying my mate from start to finish he scraped by my scoring the most unfortunate own goal of all time - its not one of those games you'll be having 7-7 scorelines EVERY match and there is such a fine line between success and failure on this game. And of course theres the master league in which you can take any team of your choice (or create one) and build it from scratch over many years, kind of like Championship Manager but where you play the matches yourself. Over the last year i have played FIFAS 2004, 2005, Club Football and then this and i know i'll never touch the first three ever again. Nuff said.
