The American Simon Kernick?,
This review is from: The Cleaner (Paperback)
This American author has a similar writing style to Simon Kernick. So if you like Kernick's "Severed" you'll probably like this book.
It's about an agent called Quinn who is working for an organisation known as "The Office". His job is to dispose of bodies and destroy evidence if necessary. After a "clean up" operation, he himself becomes a target, so then he attempts to find out why.
Although the book starts off well and is fast paced and entertaining, the characterisation is fairly weak. Also some of the story is a little far fetched, especially the part about the science lab. Towards the end of the book the writing becomes weaker, almost as if the writer was rushing to finish the book. This is why I have given it 3 stars rather than 4.
