Customer Review

on October 18, 2009
The central premise here seems to make a lot of sense intuitively. Learn the language through hearing catchy songs - that sounds good. However the 'songs' themselves are really more like a series of phrases spoken over an ambient backing track. Fair enough, you will remember some of them but it's not exactly what I had expected from reading the description of this product. If you're starting from scratch then this will arm you with a very basic vocabulary to use on your holiday, but don't expect any miracle solution here where you will find yourself speaking fluent Italian after a couple of listens. If you are serious about learning the language I would suggest investing in one of Michel Thomas' audio discs.
