Taleb is a former businessman and now an academic who has written a few books.
A sizeable volume of over 500 pages, this is a book about business and for businessmen and business students The author's argument in this tome is that disorder and not planning everything down to the Nth degree may be a better way to run a business. In some ways, personal experiences show that he may be more correct than not in that many businesses may unwittingly follow his concept, although it may often be due to ignorance and incompetence at some level of management.
Not all businesses will follow Taleb's concepts, and they will still succeed. Some may and eventually fail. It is difficult to believe that this book is or may become THE bible for business but it may provoke thought and discussion.
