Don't throw out your old one yet!,

If, like me, you have been using Delia's original Book of Cakes for years,you will be expecting the same clear, easy to use format ie ingredients in bold and listed in a column. This is sadly not the case. Although each recipe is photographed, which is an improvement and there are some new inclusions and updates,the text is in a smaller font and the ingredients shown in a shiny gold, which is particularly indistinct when using a cookbook stand. This is an attractive book for browsing, but nowhere near as practical as the original.
