Cracking Story, However.......,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: A Mighty Endeavor (Kindle Edition)
I've read all of Mr Slade's Alternate History Books so far, starting with the first which is set in 1947 "The Big One" which alluded to the events covered in "A Mighty Endeavor" (1940). So even though this is the latest work of Mr Slade it's really the start. This covers the point of divergence from our accepted history and Mr Slade's "What if" time line.
I would have given this five stars but there is some editing/format issues going on in the kindle edition which makes small parts of the book read like a Rob Wilton monologue.
Other than that there is as one would expect Mr Slade's attention to detail and his back story concerning some people who are not unlike R A Heinlein's "Lazarus Long & The Howard/Johnson Families".
Well worth the money.
