I was so dissapointed with this book it was almost laughable. This guy writes about his Dad's experience as a marathoner rather than his own, and the only useful info the book provides in my opinion is the training schedules at the back. In short, it could have been written on 3 pieces of A4 paper. You can see why the guy had to pad out the feeble content with pointless info on 'how to hold your arms whilst running' etc. It's as if he is screaming 'hey Dad, I haven't run a marathon but I have written a book to impress you!'. Maybe he has run a marathon or 2, I'm not sure, but what I am sure of is that this feeble 'book' (padded out pamphlet) is a stab at making a bit of cash on behalf of the million + people who run marathons every year. Save your money, there is nothing here you can't learn online, and in my opinion 75% of this book is a waste of good paper.
