Great world for a story but not a real trilogy,
This review is from: The Prophet of Panamindorah, Complete Trilogy (Kindle Edition)
I downloaded the first "book", free and enjoyed it. Though it was really too short to be an actual book. The world in which the story is based is interesting and idea of fauns of different types is unusual and keeps you engaged.
I bought the trilogy and again really enjoyed the world in which the story is set. Though in truth I think the trilogy would only be as long as an average paperback, which if it was sold as such 3 pounds is not an unreasonable price.
Some of the characters are under developed, included the main one "Corry", whom at one point is young and innocent, the next seems like some wise old sage, but you don't really find out anything about him until the final chapter of the trilogy, but at this point it makes no sense. The final battle with good versus evil is also something of an anti climax.
Overall a good read and the world of panamindorah has scope for some awesome storys if they were better written, the world is as engaging as any as you would find in a novel of David eddings, but the characters are under developed to take this to the next level.
