This review is from: Selkirk's Island (Hardcover)
My original thoughts on this still stand, that the author continually uses the phrase 'English sailors' when she occasionally means British sailors and frequently means a mixed bag of sailors from all over the world. This generic use of the word 'English' used in a derogatory sense, spoiled the book for me.
