Season 3 may bring deja vu if seen to close to season 2: daring resistance action; being captured; being rescued. But it remains gripping. Perhaps because it has a similar vibe to season 2 it has that air of unreality as the leads are always up to something. Most of the action is based on real events but these events took place in different parts of Poland, across a longer time period - and is some cases the year after the CZ season was set! - and different resistance groups were involved. And it has its own reality: the Russians were no-one's allies and that you do not get in British and American dramas.
