This review is from: Come Again (Paperback)
Come Together was a reasonable read with some interesting situations and a real narrative drive. The characters were a bit too trendy but it hung together.
Come Again reads like an early draft, thrown together to slip stream the success of the original. Sadly, the extension of the concept from two 'voices' to four doesn't work - it drastically dilutes the story and reduces the power of the key scenes.
'Matt' and 'H' are readable characters but Susie and Stringer are dire - if real people exist like that they shouldn't be allowed to vote!
The set up is fairly good, with the anticipation of big things between H and Matt. Doesn't really deliver, though.
