Customer Review

on May 10, 2013
We have a knife set that is 10 years old, and periodcially I have sharpened then with a basic handheld sharpener. Its fair to say they were pretty well useless. I bought the Andrew James sharpener and was astonished at the results. I had to run the knives through the whole sharpening process 3 or 4 times, but the result is tremendous. Wish i had bought the sharpener years ago.

Just one point, it arrived with no instructions. Selling a machine where the user will insert carving knives into it, and not providing instructions for safe use is pretty daft. That said, I emailed Andrew James via Amazon and within an hour had an email with instructions.

Overall, you cant buy a decent knife for £15 so to get a sharpener that will deal with an entire set of knives in 30 mins is tremendous value. If the thing breaks down tomorrow and needs throwing away, I have still saved a fortune on buying new knives!
