Wow! What a brilliant book! An in-depth, but readable book which thoroughly covers practical, intellectual and emotional aspects of mentorship. I particularly like the way it links theory with practice with inclusion of the case studies from various Health and Social Care professionals - not only nurses but social workers, and biochemists etc! This allows the reader to benefit from a range of common experiences, challenges and solutions from different fields. A `must have' for anyone thinking of undertaking a mentoring qualification, new mentors, or anyone who is interested in developing and enriching their role as a mentor. - I wish it had been available when I was studying mentorship!
